Sa propre mort: “There must be killing”

Friday, January 29th, 2010

English follows.

I just came back from the launch party for Sa propre mort (”Her Own Death“), a novel by my friend André Marois. André is a great writer of noir [...]

Place des festivals

Sunday, September 13th, 2009

En français ci-dessous. Then English again. Et encore du français. Etc. :-)
On my way to the show, I decided to walk through the new Place des Festivals in Montreal. I was not disappointed: this is a magnificent public space. There were already lovers, kids playing in the fountains and idlers on benches admiring the water [...]

Silhouettes

Monday, November 24th, 2008

I love those silhouetted ladies. And by the way, as usual: if the artist recognizes his work, please contact me or comment here or on flickr.

First try of the flickr slideshow tool.
The author [...]

New kid on the block

Big statement made by this artist with just two big paste-up. Impressive work. The signature seems to read something like “idifs” but I am not sure. More info is welcome.

Art & Puzzle

Saturday, October 18th, 2008

Near the railways, in St-Henri, Montreal, June 08. A few days later, after heavy rains, the work had vanished. I finally found a mass of paper among the weeds: I suppose it had been unglued by the rain then rolled around by the wind. I took it and unfold it, it was a little torn [...]

Surprises, surprises

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

I guess that I will stop soon to post only images but this is another of these days; I just took these pics during a walk (obviously the bottom two are by other artists). Click on a picture to see the large size on flickr.

MOR ENCORE

Sunday, May 11th, 2008

Another experiment with MOR images.

MOR, MOR, MOR

Sunday, May 11th, 2008

This is another try at playing only with images. All are from the “bomb” series by the anonymous artist who signs MOR (click on any images to access the flickr galleries). This time I tried a progression (from top to bottom) as in an animation. It’s a work in progress: I may add or [...]
